The purpose of the Benedictine monastery of Chevetogne, Belgium, has been from its inception in 1925, to pray for Christian unity. In this context, it was Dom Gregory, a specialist in Slavic culture and, moreover, an excellent musician, belongs to a new beginning in the 1950s Chevetogne. It is from that time in fact that the monastic community really starts in a faithful interpretation of the music of the Russian Church and ownership of the Slavonic liturgical language. The result speaks for itself.
