This book draws on passages of Scripture and reflects the "voice" that the author, Giacomo di Maria, sensitive and open to the Christian God sees in meditation, according to what Peter said in his address to the Pentecost, quoting the prophet Joel:
"It will be in the last days, saith the Lord, I pour out my Spirit on all flesh. So your son and your daughters shall prophesy. Your young shall see visions, your old men dream dreams. And me, my servants and on My maidservants I will pour out my Spirit. "(Acts 2.17-18)
This first volume contains the inspirations Giacomo received from 1990-1995. This is a book of prayers and meditations should not be "swallowed" a stroke, but slowly internalized to let God act in us and lure us to Him.
