The Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, and the third person of the Trinity in Christianity. It is also called the Love of the Father and the Son.
In the Bible, the Holy Spirit is manifest from the Old Testament. The New Testament [1] suggests that the Holy Spirit is a person different from the Father and the Son, and forming with them one God, even if the doctrine of the Trinity was made only gradually, during the ancient councils, especially from the First Council of Nicaea.
