Presentation éditeurAux edge of the Velay mountains and Livradois, the rough side of the Chaise-Dieu is dominated by the silhouette of the abbey, which originated in the eleventh century. Famous for his portrayal of the Dance Macabre, the handsome building is also rich in its organ, restored in 1995. It was after this restoration Francois Clement recorded this CD. The musician knows how to brilliantly enhance all games of this organ from the 17th century, with the vocal ensemble directed by Blaise Plumettaz he revives Nivers Guillaume Gabriel, composer (largely unknown) of the Grand Siecle.
