The archangels are known by their names:
Michel, Prince of the heavenly host, and is mentioned in the Koran for Islam (Sura 2 Verse 98)
Gabriel, the heavenly messenger appears in Judaism, Christianity and Islam (or Djibril Jebril)
Raphael protector of travelers.
But Gabriel and Raphael is not mentioned in the Bible as archangels. Only Michel that title. According to the meaning of "the most powerful, the first, there were seven early four were banned. These are the only beings in the world to have a special relationship with God. As a reward for their attitude towards the rebellion of Satan, they are authorized to act without the permission of God. These are the only ones with that power.
There are two phrases to describe an archangel:
"St. Michael the Archangel, as in the sentence" The archangel Michael has struck the dragon. "
"Archangel Michael", as in the phrase "St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us. "
This last expression is a form where the emphasis is honorary rank of an archangel.
